Cute freshmen in the house. just walked in on me and my 20 page paper and my room which smells like moldy laundry because I spilled half the bottle of detergent in the washer yesterday and it didn't dry and I'm too cheap to pay for a second run.
But hey- maybe they found the massive tv sexy enough. (today was sorting hat day, so there were polar bears and gorillas and rabbits and lots of squealing frosh.)

And when I was there, I was out of sight on a walkway when the loudest calving occured. but I did see a couple chunks fall off. I feel like this justifies the 40 or so photos we took!

I didn't notice how much unalloyed cynicism there is at Harvard until watching a show choir, sequins and smiles flashing, belt out a Disney medley in Holden Chapel. And, or at least look like, they meant all the wonderful days. It was a group from Penn that Glee Club Lite had invited, or welcomed. And while the Billy Joel number was rather ironic(Brenda and Eddie, waterbed, paintings and all, do get divorced in the next verse, and everyone knows too much Pressure leads to downing beers in Zanzibar with Captain Jack), I was in awe of their energy and rah-rah school spirit.

21. Twenty-one. 2121212121. Opened with crackers, cheese and wine, and my parents. and raspberry chocolate cookies.

No sooner had I assured the history tutor that while some here overloaded on extracurriculars, I had things under control, when I found myself majorly behind on a research paper, giving up for reading on other classes, and thinking- but all these shows are so much more fun! Dunster House Opera, Ghungroo, Betrayal in the ex, 'Lite, the stuff I'm in....
